Celebration Call for Entries
All new construction and/or renovations
completed by an Indiana based Interior Design or
Architecture firm between July 1, 2004 and July 1,
2006, and has not been submitted to this competition
previously, is eligible for the 2006 competition.
Projects may
be located out of state.
The six categories will
be as follows:

Residential and Multi-Family Dwellings
-
Hospitality: Retail, Restaurant, Entertainment, Museum
-
Corporate/ Commercial
-
Institutional: Education, Government, Libraries
-
Healthcare and Assisted Living
- Out of the Box IDEA
(ex. LEED project, Historical Renovation and projects with unique challenges)
Each entry must be submitted in
a three-ring binder, as well as uploaded onto the
IIDA Indiana Chapter website (Click
here to access
on-line entry form). In the three-ring binder, all
requested information, except
the entry
fee, should
be enclosed in 8.5” x 11” clear plastic
binder pages. The binder and the uploaded information
must include
the following;
- Completed official
entry form available on the website – Do
not disclose the firm’s identity on any
material except the entry form and the entry fee.
- Entry fee check
payable to IIDA – Indiana
Chapter (sent with the binder sealed in a white
envelope located in the front pocket of the binder.)
- One page Design
Statement (including Client goals and design concept,
as well as any challenges during
the project and how your tw0 supporting vendors
made this project successful.)
- Floor plan(s) of project
- Minimum of four (4)
and maximum of eight (8) 8”x10” color
photographs of the project’s interior
for the binder. These must be in
electronic PDF format for uploading on the website.
The binder (with Entry Fee) is to be sent to
Chad Crowe at Nonprofit Team, Inc., 10 West
Market Street,
Suite 1720, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Package must
be clearly labeled IDEA Celebration Entry. Both
the binder and electronic upload must be received
by
3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6th, 2006. Any entries
received after this time will not be considered
for this award.
